The tour accommodates a minimum group size of 1 and a maximum of 10 people. Participants typically range from 16 to 100 years old.
  • What type of accommodation is provided on the yacht?

The yacht offers 5 twin/double bed cabins, some with en suite facilities and others with shared facilities. Rooming is assigned upon arrival, and specific cabins cannot be guaranteed unless pre-booked. You may share a bunk or double bed with a travel partner or a fellow passenger of the same sex.
  • Are meals included in the tour price?

Generally, meals are not included to provide flexibility. However, the Skipper/CEO will help organize a food kitty of approximately EUR 70 per person per trip to cover small food items on board for self-prepared breakfasts, lunches, and occasional dinners. Most dinners are taken ashore at local restaurants.
  • What is the role of the Skipper/CEO during the tour?

The Skipper/CEO is with the group throughout the journey, responsible for sailing the vessel and ensuring safety. They provide information on the visited places, suggest activities and local restaurants, and may invite guests to help with sailing and share their knowledge.
  • What are the physical requirements for this sailing trip?

This trip has a physical rating of 3. Participants should be able to climb small steep ladders, walk over wooden planks to board/disembark, carry their own luggage, and be comfortable moving around the yacht when it's in motion. You will also often be climbing in and out of inflatable tenders at beach landing spots.
  • What kind of luggage should I bring for the tour?

Due to limited space on board, only soft-sided luggage, such as a mid-sized backpack or soft duffel bag (less than 15kg), is permitted. Hard suitcases are not suitable.
  • Is there a limit on fresh water usage on the boat?

Yes, fresh water is very limited on board. Showers are restricted to one quick shower per person per day.
  • What are the electrical outlets like on the yacht, and when are they available?

Electrical outlets on board are European style with 2 pins (240V) and are only operational while the yacht is in port. Bringing an external battery pack for charging personal electronics is highly recommended as constant power is not available.
  • Is an emergency fund recommended for this trip?

Yes, it is recommended to have access to at least an additional USD $200 (or equivalent) as an emergency fund, to be used when circumstances outside our control require a change to the planned route.

At the end of the trip, a tip of 10 EUR per person per day is suggested as a minimum guideline for the Skipper/CEO.
  • What if I am sensitive to seasickness?

People who are sensitive to seasickness should come prepared with appropriate medication. Moving around the yacht while under sail can be challenging as it moves in waves or heels over.
  • Will I be expected to participate in keeping the boat tidy?

Yes, this is a self-catering trip, and everyone is expected to participate in keeping the boat ship shape at all times, including cleaning up after themselves, washing dishes, and emptying bins when ashore.
